William H. Cunningham, lovingly known as Bill, passed away peacefully Aug. 27, 2023, at the age of 79. He was born March 11, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland, and lived in the East Liverpool, Ohio area his entire life.

Bill was a hardworking individual who dedicated many years to his work at Evans Fruit Market, where he served as a jack of all trades, and owner/operator of Dresden Auto Body. His strong work ethic and willingness to help others made him a valued member of the community.

Outside of work, Bill enjoyed spending time pursuing his passions. He found solace in fishing and had a knack for working on cars, honing his mechanical skills. These activities brought him great joy and allowed him to connect with the things he loved most.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William H. Cunningham; his mother, Kathleen Leeson Cunningham; and his sons Rodney Cunningham and William Lane Cunningham. Although they are no longer with us, their memory will forever live on in our hearts.

He is survived by his former wife, Linda Evans Cunningham, and his children Kenny and Tammy Cunningham of Rogers, Ohio, Eric and Emma Cunningham of East Liverpool and Mary Ann Grace of East Liverpool. Bill is also survived by his brother Doug Cunningham of Wyoming, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bill’s legacy extends to his six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, who will carry his memory with them throughout their lives.

Services to honor and celebrate Bill’s life will be held Thursday, Aug. 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Calcutta, Ohio. A private burial will take place at the Columbiana County Memorial Park.

During this difficult time, let us remember and cherish the wonderful memories we shared with Bill. May he rest in eternal peace.
