*Lahore Science Mela
When: Concludes Sunday (today). From 9am to 5pm.
Where: Crescent Model Higher Secondary School, Lahore.
What is it about: Said to be “Pakistan’s largest citizen science and technology festival,” the Mela promises a variety of “scientific marvels, breathtaking experiments, mind-boggling demonstrations, engaging auditorium sessions and thought-provoking panel discussions.”
Entry is free and open to all.

When: Continues through second week of November.
Where: Alhamra, The Mall, Lahore.
What is it about: A 16-day long cultural festival, which features 16 well-known singers performing live. The event has been put together by the Information and Culture Department and Arts Council, Lahore.
The featured artistes include Hadiqa Kiani, Naseebo Lal, Hasan Rahim, Sara Raza, Saeen Zahoor, Sahir Ali Bagga, Sanam Marvi and Arif Lohar.
When: November 4. From 9pm onwards.
Where: The Colony, Lahore.
What is it about: Dance to an eclectic mix of music at the Halloween-themed DJ night. Halloween costumes are encouraged. The best dressed/ most creative one will win a prize. The event is for couples/ mixed groups only.
