Google is gearing up to launch its latest Pixel devices at an in-person event in New York City on October 4th, just three weeks after Apple’s iPhone 15 event. The company has sent out invitations to the media and others for the event, which will start at 10 AM ET (7:30 PM IST).

The Pixel 8 Pro, the flagship device of the Pixel 8 line, has already been leaked online, revealing its design and camera layout. The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display, a Tensor G3 processor, a 5,100 mAh battery, and a 64MP triple camera setup.

Besides the Pixel 8 Pro, Google is also likely to announce the Pixel 8 and the Pixel Watch 2. The Pixel Watch 2 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset from the latest “W5” generation and will bring significant battery life improvements.

Google may also update its other hardware products, such as the Pixel Buds A-Series and the Pixel Buds Pro, which are its wireless earbuds. However, the Pixel Fold and the Pixel Tablet, which are its foldable phone and tablet respectively, are not expected to be refreshed at the event because they started shipping only recently. The invitation didn’t mention its Nest and Fitbit brands, but announcements from those are also a possibility.

Google has also posted an advertisement for the event on its social handles, featuring the Pixel and iPhone enjoying a “spa day”. The advertisement invites people to sign up for updates on the Google Store once they are available.

The event will be live-streamed on YouTube for those who cannot attend in person.
