Gilen Gottinder and Chair LaBarr won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0 to jump-start Fredonia to a 5-0 sweep in season-opening Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls tennis Thursday.
Nella Darrell-Sterback also won her singles match for the Hillbillies (1-0). Jenna Gullo and Rosie Manzella won at first doubles while Abigail Joy and Amelia Way won at second doubles for Fredonia.
